My services are designed to allow all dogs to look and feel their best. I treat every dog with great care and attention, as if it were my own.

Each groom is tailored to the exact requirements for each and every dog.

All prices are for guidance only. The exact price will be based on the tailored groom required and will be based on your requirements, the size of the dog, breed, type of coat, coat condition and behaviour.

Here is a selection of the services I provide:
FULL GROOM
This groom is the full package, for dogs that need regular grooming to keep them looking and feeling at their best.
The full groom includes: a brush out, double wash, blow dry & style, nail trim, ear cleaning & plucking and finishing cologne.

PUPPY BUNDLE
It is important to get your little bundle of fluff accustomed to their regular groom from an early age.
The puppy bundle allows your puppy to become familiar with me, the environment and what happens during their groom.
I normally recommend 2 or 3 sessions, but just like people, all dogs are different, and some need a little more time than others.

Price: £27 per session, until they are ready for a full groom.
SHORT HAIR DOG GROOM
​
This groom is designed for, as the name suggest, short haired dogs. It is still important to ensure their coat is kept in good condition and nails are trimmed.
The short haired dog groom includes: brushing to remove dead hair, double wash, blow dry, nail trim, ear clean and finishing cologne.

HAND STRIPPING
Hand stripping is a technique to remove excess dead hair from a dog's topcoat, in order to allow growth of new hairs and providing a natural look.

This technique is typically used for wire-haired breads.

MAINTENANCE GROOM
This is a groom between grooms. It is designed for dogs with high maintenance coats or if you would simply like to keep your dog fresh and clean, without having to bath them yourselves.

This groom includes a brush, double wash and dry, nails trimmed, hygiene trims around armpits, groin and bottom and tidy around eyes.

HEALTH CHECK
I provide a health check as part of all my grooms. This includes a skin analysis and checking for any abnormalities.
ABOUT
Sapphire Dog Grooming is a tailored Dog Grooming service, run and owned by myself, Faye. I grew up with pet dogs and love spending time with them. So when I decided it was time for a career change, becoming a Dog Groomer was the perfect choice.

I set up Sapphire Dog Grooming after completing my qualification for AIM Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming. My aim is for all dogs to look and feel their best, both during their groom and when it is complete. Each dog is unique and my tailored services allow me to treat each dog with the specialist care and attention they require.

I also hold a canine first aid certificate and am fully insured.
Can I still bring my bitch if she is in season?
No, please can you reschedule your appointment for a date when she is no longer in season.
Can I bring my dog if it has fleas?
Please don't bring your dog with fleas, please treat your dog at home first and ensure they are free of fleas before any groom.
If fleas are found during the groom there will be a £12 charge to cover the costs of any products required and deep cleaning required as a result.
When can I start to bring my puppy?

The earliest you can bring your puppy is two weeks after their final vaccination.
Do I have to stay, or can I drop my dog off with you?
Owners are asked to drop off and I will contact you about 15 mins before the end of the appointment for collection.
Can I bring my dog if it is pregnant?
No, grooming can risk bringing on early labour.
Should I feed my dog before the groom?
You can feed your dog a small amount at least two hours before their groom, to allow them to be comfortable and content during their groom.
Please allow your dog to have an opportunity to toilet prior to their appointment.
How often should my dog be groomed?
This is specific to every dog, dependent on the breed, coat and maintenance at home. Please feel free to call me and I can discuss the specific needs of your dog with you.
Will my dog be the only dog present?
No, there are other groomers working at the location, but each dog will be groomed at a separate station and your dog will remain with me throughout.
Can I bring my dogs medicated or specialist shampoo?

Yes, I can use shampoo supplied by you, please ensure it is clearly labeled.
Do you charge a fee for an appointment no-show?
Yes the cost of the appointment will be charged with less than 24hrs notice.
How can I pay for my dog's groom?
I accept cash or card payment, thank you.
My dog is on medication, is it ok to give this as normal?
If your dog is unwell please reschedule your appointment. However, if this is regular medication, yes, give this to them as normal. Please do not book the appointment for the time it is required to be given; I cannot administer any medication.
